Our Cozy Little Beginning

Nest and Key Retreats began with a simple idea: that every home has the potential to become a peaceful, welcoming escape—with the right care. After staying in dozens of Airbnbs and short-term rentals myself, I started to notice what really made the difference between a “meh” stay and a truly memorable one. It wasn’t just cleanliness or location—it was the thoughtful touches: a bottle of wine waiting on the counter, a yoga mat in the corner, a cozy throw blanket, or hot tea and honey to help set the mood.

I took those lessons to heart. After seeing how overwhelming short-term rentals could be for property owners, I wanted to create a service that felt different. One rooted in hospitality, trust, and the kind of attention you'd give your own home.

As a full-time mom of four (three boys and one sassy little girl), I started this business not just to build something for myself, but to show my kids what’s possible. That success isn’t just about making money—it’s also about helping others, doing things the right way, and taking pride in your work. Nest and Key is built on that same belief. We may be small, but that’s our strength—we treat every property like it’s the only one on our list. Because for us, it’s not just about bookings and turnover. It’s about creating beautiful stays, happy guests, and stress-free hosting from the inside out.
